I have been a registered acupuncturist since 1987 and worked with patients for over twenty years. I practice an integrated form of Chinese acupuncture which embraces the Five Element and Eight Principle styles. This approach provides a complete treatment framework, and is extremely effective for a wide range of physical and emotional problems. Sports injuries also respond well to this form of treatment.

I have attended numerous specialist acupuncture seminars in order to extend my professional expertise. I have also participated as a practitioner in clinical trials run by the University of York. These have investigated the effects of acupuncture on osteoarthritis of the knee (2006), depression (2007), irritable bowel syndrome (2008/9), and depression (2010).
